Donald Trump is launching the TRUTH Social app to stop Facebook and Twitter’s monopoly on most social media platforms. Today, the social media industry is controlled by a handful of big tech companies, and Facebook is the largest. The TRUTH Social app is allegedly set to ‘end the industry’s tyranny of Big Tech’.
This all-new social media app will be coming from Donald Trump’s tech organization, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). As per the press release, the beta version of this app will be available in November. The TRUTH Social app will be available from early 2022. However, as per the current reports, this will be an invite-only social platform.

The official announcement of the app and the TMTG organization has been recently made from the Twitter handle of Elizabeth Harrington. She is the spokesperson for Trump, and she has even shared a few pictures from the official press release in one of her tweets as well. You can see the tweet below.
Now, if you don’t know, Donald Trump has previously given a hint about creating a social media platform earlier also, when almost every social media company had banned him back in January’21 for violating their policies. So basically, Trump is using this TRUTH Social app to go all-in against Facebook and Twitter.
Trump said in a statement that
“TMTG was founded with a mission to give a voice to all. I’m excited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and to fight back against Big Tech. Everyone asks me why doesn’t someone stand up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon!”
This app is currently available on Apple App Store for pre-order. You can get yourself registered for a waiting list as well from the official website of the app. And from these, you get a glimpse of the soon-to-be-launched social media app.
From the screenshots, we can see a profile named Jack’s Beard. Moreover, the profile picture of this user ID looks much like Jack Dorsey. So, we can assume that it is indicating Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter. So, it’s pretty clear that this app is basically a comeback weapon of Donald Trump after his account got banned on Twitter.
App’s Description
If you go through the app’s description, the posts on this TRUTH Social app will be called TRUTHs. And the users on this platform can even re-TRUTH someone else’s TRUTHs. From this, it’s clear that this app can hit right in the guts of Twitter.
It has been already mentioned, that the TRUTH Social app by Donald Trump will be available for invite-only users from next month onwards. And the final app will be launched within the first quarter of 2022.
